Creating a rock-toned makeup look

A bold choice that conveys the idea of fusing rhythms and music from around the world expressed through a rock make-up.
The steps to create the look:

A matte and luminous complexion
To highlight the pronounced gaze of the look, opt for a matte and luminous base worked with the Infaillible 24H-Matte foundation. This is achieved by mixing 2 or 3 shades according to each person’s skin tone.
After evening out the complexion, add light with the Infaillible long-wear Concealer. It is applied in small touches under the eyes, in the middle of the forehead, on the bridge and wings of the nose, on the chin and above the upper lip. To ensure long wear of the make-up, the makeup artist applies a veil of Infaillible pressed powder. Finally, to bring freshness and color, the tops of the cheekbones and the chin are enhanced with a touch of blush, shade Rose Bonne Mine 165.

A smoky eye
For this beauty look, the choice was made to emphasize the eyes with a revisited smoky eye. The entire mobile eyelid is covered with eyeshadow. The eye is elongated with black applied to the outer corner of the eye.

The smoky effect itself is worked in a mix of tones, starting from a satin copper, accentuated with dark matte brown and anthracite gray. It is created with the Nude palette. The inner eye is lined, below and above, with the black khôl Super Liner Silkissime eye-liner. Finally, for a very rock look, false lashes are applied and enhanced with the Mega Volume Waterproof Miss Manga mascara. This serves to accentuate the smoky aspect of the make-up.

Vibrant lips
At this stage, the desired result is what is called the “bitten lip” effect. The lips are first prepared for makeup with the hydrating balm lipstick Caresse 701 Rose Melon, before being colored with the Color Riche lipstick No. 430, a burgundy red, applied with a brush by tapping on the lips to obtain the “bitten lip” effect.
