Dress
Dress, an outer garment, of a single piece, generally provided with sleeves, reaching down to the knees or to the feet with a shape and fullness that vary according to the era, the country, fashion and the person who wears it.
Long garment, usually worn by men and by women.
A dress is a garment that covers the body in a single piece running from the shoulders to the legs. It is put on over the head thanks to an opening in the back, at the front, or with no openings at all.
While the term nowadays denotes, in the West, a garment that is almost exclusively feminine, many cultures consider it a traditional male garment (Islamic countries, the Far East, some peoples of Africa and Latin America, in China until the beginning of the 20th century).
Even in Europe, the dress was long worn by both sexes before the emergence of the concept of femininity during the Renaissance. It remained a unisex garment for children until the 19th century. Materials and cuts vary; it can be more or less long on the legs, and may or may not have sleeves.
We offer different dresses in order to give every woman the pleasure of choosing her long dress.
