Agadir, a coastal town in southern Morocco, is a must-see destination for beach and sun lovers. Destroyed by an earthquake in 1960, the town has been rebuilt with modern architecture, while retaining traditional touches.

Agadir is best known for its Corniche, a long boulevard running alongside the ocean, offering breathtaking views and direct access to sandy beaches.
The city is also a hub for water sports such as surfing and kite-surfing, thanks to the steady winds that blow along the Atlantic coast. In addition to its beaches, Agadir offers typical markets, such as Souk El Had, where you can find handicrafts, spices and local specialties.

Agadir is also distinguished by its proximity to the Paradise Valley and the Souss-Massa region, offering exceptional natural landscapes. The city is an excellent starting point for excursions in southern Morocco, to places like Taroudant or Tafraoute.
