Aicha des Gazelles
The queens of off-road will arrive on March 17, 2017 for the 27th edition of the Aïcha des Gazelles Rally. They are the Amazons of Fast and Furious.
The Rallye des Gazelles reflects its tireless participants. They will criss-cross the desert, only to finally arrive on the beach exalted by an audience both wild and moved. Small, daring women. Driving in improbable conditions in the name of a cause, which moreover arouses admiration and sympathy.
In 2016, the trophy presentation took place under a marquee set up not far away in the presence of the organizers and partners, families and even those for whom the adventure ended prematurely, proof that such an experience forges friendships beyond the victories of some or others.
That year proved beneficial for the Moroccan crews who achieved strong results, even taking first place in the 4×4 category.
On the team competition side, the result was also very respectable, with a Challenge Wave Media prize of 15,000 euros. The sum was donated to an association assisting underprivileged children.
Indeed, our Gazelles show both courage and heart.
We hope for 2017 for results and participation as good as in previous years.
