According to published data that show the seven-day average of doses administered per 100 inhabitants of the total population, Morocco is near the top of the ranking and is ranked 9th place among the countries that have vaccinated the most people in the world with a rate of 0.36%.
Since the start of the vaccination campaign in Morocco, 1,707,091 vaccine injections have been carried out up to February 15. Indeed, Morocco is ahead of Turkey, which stands in 10th position (0.21%) and ranks after the United States in 6th place (0.5%), Bahrain in 7th position (0.48%) and Malta in 8th position (0.41%).
It should be recalled that Morocco has received different batches of the British AstraZeneca vaccine, manufactured in India, as well as doses from the Chinese laboratory Sinopharm. The Kingdom plans to immunize more than 30 million inhabitants after ordering a total of 66 million doses, including 40 million from Sinopharm.
