Morocco is a developing country with a growing economy. Since the 2000s, Morocco has implemented economic reforms to diversify its economy and attract foreign investment. The country has become an export hub for manufactured goods and services, particularly in the aerospace, automotive and agri-food sectors.

Morocco has also strengthened its economic ties with neighboring and European countries, thanks to trade agreements such as the Morocco–EU Association Agreement. The country has also invested in modern infrastructure to stimulate growth, such as the Tanger-Med port, which is one of the largest ports in Africa and the Mediterranean.
