It is the capital of the Taza-Al Hoceima-Taounate region and has about 150,000 inhabitants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nador has a rich history dating back to Antiquity, when it was known as Nadorcas. The Phoenicians, the Romans and the Visigoths all left their mark on the city over the centuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, Nador is a city experiencing economic growth, with an economic dynamism based on agriculture, industry and tourism. The agri-food sector is particularly developed, with a strong presence of citrus cultivation, notably oranges and mandarins. The city is also an important center for processing these fruits, with many fruit and juice processing workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding industry, Nador is a center of excellence for the production of fish and seafood, with many fishing ports and numerous fish processing workshops. The city is also an important textile production center, with many garment workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, tourism is booming in Nador, with many historical and cultural sites to discover, such as the old town of Nadorcas, the El Makhzen palace, Talassemtane National Park and the Mediterranean beaches. The city is also an important transit point for travelers heading to Spain, thanks to its proximity to the ports of Almeria and Melilla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With its many economic and cultural assets, Nador is a rapidly expanding city, attracting more and more visitors and investors each year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nador is a city located in the northeast of Morocco, near the Spanish border.
