This article examines the various reforms undertaken during his reign, from social advances to economic changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most significant reforms was the Moudawana or family code, which was revised in 2004 to improve the status of women in Moroccan society. This reform increased women&#8217;s rights regarding divorce and child custody, marking a turning point in Moroccan family law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the economic front, Mohammed VI launched the Plan Maroc Vert, which aims to maximize the use of Morocco&#8217;s agricultural resources while promoting sustainable farming practices. This plan has helped modernize the agricultural sector, which is vital to the country&#8217;s economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Infrastructure development has also been a priority, with projects like the TGV (high-speed train) between Tangier and Casablanca, and the development of new ports and airports to boost trade and tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These reforms have been essential to positioning Morocco as an emerging economic player in Africa and as an example of political stability in the region.
