Its ramparts, listed as a <strong>UNESCO<\/strong> World Heritage Site, bear witness to a past of trade and battles.   <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Essaouira&#8217;s medina<\/strong> is a <strong>labyrinth of<\/strong> alleyways filled with artisans&#8217; stalls selling products such as cedar wood and silver jewelry.<br\/>The town is also renowned for its festivals, notably the <strong>Gnaoua Festival<\/strong>, which attracts visitors from all over the world to discover this <strong>traditional African music<\/strong>. Essaouira is also a mecca for wind sports such as kite-surfing and windsurfing, thanks to the trade winds that blow almost all year round. <\/p>\n\n<p><br\/>In addition to its historic charm,
