The sector plays a crucial role in <strong>Morocco&#8217;s economic<\/strong> development, providing jobs for millions of <strong>Moroccans<\/strong> and contributing to the country&#8217;s food security.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Today, around 40% of the country&#8217;s working population is employed in agriculture, particularly in rural areas.<br\/>The <strong>Green Morocco Plan<\/strong>, launched in 2008, marked a decisive step towards modernizing the agricultural sector. This initiative has enabled the introduction of modern agricultural techniques, optimized water management and promoted sustainability. Thanks to this plan, Morocco has strengthened its agricultural export capacity, becoming one of <strong>Europe&#8217;s<\/strong> leading <strong>fruit and vegetable producers, notably in Spain and France<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<p><br\/>However, climate change remains a major challenge for <strong>Moroccan agriculture<\/strong>. Periods of <strong>drought and water constraints <\/strong>make it essential to implement sustainable solutions, such as drip irrigation systems and the use of drought-resistant crops.
